Angry Birds Cinematic Trailer
There is a game recently so popular called Angry Birds.I want to inform you about it,so I chose this video. In this video you can understand why these birds are so angry. This video is about their reason of revenge. Before it I want to give a piece of information to you about its origin.
Angry Birds is a puzzle video game developed by Finnish computer game developer Rovio Mobile. Inspired primarily by a sketch of stylized wingless birds, the game was first released in December 2009. Since that time, over 12 million copies of the game have been purchased from Apple's App Store . In the game, players use a slingshot to launch birds at pigs stationed on or within various structures, with the intent of destroying all the pigs on the playfield. As players advance through the game, new birds appear, some with special abilities that can be activated by the player. Rovio Mobile has supported Angry Birds with numerous free updates that add additional game content, and the company has even released stand-alone holiday and promotional versions of the game.
Angry Birds has been praised for its successful combination of addictive gameplay, comical style, and low price. Its popularity led to versions of Angry Birds being created for personal computers and gaming consoles, a market for merchandise featuring its characters and even long-term plans for a feature film or television series. With a combined 500 million downloads across all platforms and including both regular and special editions, the game has been called "one of the most mainstream games out right now", "one of the great runaway hits of 2010", and "the largest mobile app success the world has seen so far"
Also my friends are playing this game. When they are playing ,they act s if they were not in the world. This game is addictive.I think before you start to play it think twice.
DECİDE YOURSELF
It is a common dilemma that where you should stay studying at a university. At this point, you have to decide to live whether with your family at home or with your friends at college.Either of them can be suitable for you and you can say it doesn’t matter for me,but both have many differences than similarities.
They have so little similarities that we can say both have nothing in common. In spite of this I will talk about one of their similarities. In both condition you have to ask permission from somebody to go anywhere. At home you are not allowed to go out without your parents’ favour. Similarly,at college you can’t go somewhere unless you have permission to do it.At this point there is no difference between them.
When it comes to their differences, both are world apart.Their different aspects outnumber their similarities.First of all, while staying at home you don’t need ironing, washing and cleaning. You are only supposed to study.Your mother already does them for you ,but at college you have to deal with all of them on your own.Another point is self confidence.A person living with his family lacks confidence.Every needs of him are removed by his parents. There is no need for his own effort. However ,at college you are alone, and have responsibilities. You have to handle many problems on your own which makes you more self-confident.In terms of economic problems, living at college is better. It teaches you how to spend your money effectively.Conversely,at home you don’t have to worry about money.Your parents supply enough money for you whenever you need.Unlike home,at college you get used to spend your money sparingly.
As a result, these two situation have similarities, but I think their differences are more striking then their similarities. In terms of asking permission they can be the same, but in responsibilities, economic issues and gaining self-confidence they are dissimilar.I think staying at college is better for you.If I were you,I would choose to live out of the shadow of my family.Live at college, live your life.

I like these pictures a lot. They are both sweety and have some messages. For example in this picture there is a bookworm on the books.I think it tries to say it graduated thanks to books.
If you think buying books is expensive ,I can advise you to buy second hand books.I think they are more valuable than brand new ones. You can see some notes or comments among pages. They are the memories of the previous readers. Each has some pieces from their reader’s life. When I looked at this Picture it remind me of dealers in second hand books, and I want to share my feelings with you.Personally the reason of my buying second hand books is not their cheap costs but their spiritual values .
I’m sure you’ve seen the advertisements where famous celebrities sit next to a stack of books they haven’t read and tell you to read more. While I agree with the message, the posters take for granted that ordering you to read more is enough to convince you that you should bother.
I like reading so much that I can read almost everything. You hear the metaphor of bookworm used for people reading much.I can describe myself as a bookworm so I chose this pictures for you.I hope you will like them and start to reading too.
There are many other reasons for reading and I suggest you come up with your own. But wanting to read more doesn’t make it so. Reading more books requires forming the right habits so that reading becomes an automatic activity, rather than a chore.
Here are a few tips for boosting the amount of books you can read:
• Speed Read :I think this is based on the misconception that speed-reading is all about a magical technique that allows you to blur through pages, rather than plain, common-sense habits to make reading faster.
• Use a pointer. Run your index finger beneath the text on the page. This keeps your eyes focused on a specific point on the page.
• Practice read. Practice reading means “reading” slightly faster than you can actually comprehend.
• One Book at a Time:My rule is that I should continue reading one book until I finish it, or decide to quit it entirely.
• Carry a Book With You. If you plan on going anywhere, keep a book with you and you can read if you are forced to wait.

PICTURE REFLECTION
A gnarled old vine from an abandoned vineyard in the Provence is starkly juxtaposed with delicate camellia blossoms.
In this work, rusted iron tractor parts make an excellent support for a fragile cluster of narcissus and calla leaves.
The bark of eucalyptus provides unusual shapes, colors and textures to this creation
One is silent when doing Ikebana, even the teacher will speak little. Following Japanese tradition, the apprentice learns by watching and then doing rather than by listening. Together with some flowers, leaves, a vase, and our inner being, we achieve silence and harmony between Nature and ourselves. This is the true philosophy of Ikebana.
Probably this work was made during the autumn season, because they used yellow and colours.Preference of flowers changes according to season .For example,in winter pine branches and some fresh flowers are used.In summer variable fresh flowers are preferred.
Nowadays in Japan, there are many schools, each one having its own distinctive style and rules of composition. But in the most traditional school of Ikebana, the three main stems are said to represent Heaven, Humanity and the Earth. In Ikebana. The elements, placed asymmetrically, are given emphasis by the spaces.
The choice of vase can vary.If you like ,you can buy exported Japan vases or you can work with ordinary local vases. They can be in shape of square.round or unusual. As you see in this picture.

JAPAN FLOWER ARRANGEMENT
I chose this topic , because my presentation in written expression course was related to ikebana. It sounds to me interesting and I hope you will like it too.I will inform you about ikebana and I added some examples of it to my text .You can examine them below.
Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement.Ike means live and bana means flowers. We can say that ikebana means living flowers. Ikebana is more than simply putting flowers in a container. It has a recorded history; it is backed up by articulate theories; and it is concerned with creativity. In Japan, flower arrangements are used as decorations on a level with paintings and other art objects. It is a disciplined art form in which the arrangement is a living thing in which nature and humanity are brought together. It is steeped in the philosophy of developing closeness with nature. As is true of all other arts, ikebana is creative expression within certain rules of construction. Its materials are living branches, leaves, grasses, and blossoms, anything can be used and even a small weed can be given an important place in an arrangement. Its heart is the beauty resulting from colour combinations, natural shapes, graceful lines, and the meaning latent in the total form of the arrangement. Ikebana is, therefore, much more than mere floral decoration.
Almost anyone with a little time and inclination can acquire sufficient skill to make beautiful arrangements.Nowadays in Japan, there are many schools, each one having its own distinctive style and rules of composition. But in the most traditional school of Ikebana, the three main stems are said to represent Heaven, Humanity and the Earth. In Ikebana. The elements, placed asymmetrically, are given emphasis by the spaces.
Thus, the totality of a well-done arrangement brings about a state of serenity and peace to the viewer.Born around the 6 th century in Japan as a religious offering at Buddhist temples, Ikebana slowly became increasingly popular among the aristocracy and the samurai class.
It also has some benefits. It helps you to “live in the moment” and to appreciate things in nature that previously had seemed insignificant. One becomes more patient and tolerant of differences, not only in nature, but also more generally in other people.. This would purify their heart and mind.

The Vampire Diaries - Kamera arkası 2
I chose this video ,because I think this type of videos are more intesting than serial trailors. In this video the director tells us the story of the serial ,and how they film the scenes. The story is that there are two vampire brothers,Damon and Stefan Salvatore, and they have completely different and opposite characters. Both love a 17 year- old American girl ,Elena.Damon is a bad vampire ,and feeds with human blod.He is a cruel brother of Stefan.Unlike Damon, Stefan is a good and sympathic of the serial. He is the boyfriend of Elena. He tries to control his hungry, and he feeds ınly with the blood of small animals like squirrels. As the time passed Damon and Stefan have changed.Damon is a good character anymore.Once upon a time Elena was the girlfriend of Stefan ,but later she fells in love with elder brother Damon.Nina Dobrev acting as Elena says that if you think going out with a boy is hard, try it with a vampire. Also in this video they are talking about make up and costumes of the characters. The make up process is hard and long.Paul Wesley acting as Stefan when I look at a mirror after make up,I can’t recognize myself. If the vampires are hungry or get angry in the serial, their colour of face is paled and some veins appear on their faces via a computer. Also they say that their work is very good and everbody can find something from his or her life.I can say that I like hhis video so much. It’s both trailer and summary of the scenes.Again and again I can strongly advise you to watch the Vampire Diaries.I am sure you will like it.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES
I learned a lot of new words and expressions in this way.In high school my friends watched it and advised it to me.As I said before I’m biased about it and don’t like supernatural events and creatures ,so I said I would never watch it.One day I had free time and nothing to do.I decided to watch a film or TVserial.I wondered what happens in this serial because my friends talked much about it.I watched it too.
It has 53 episodes, and I watched all of them in 5 days. Now if my old friends heard this they would surprised and loughed at me.It was so impressed that my dreams were about it in those days. The serial involves supernatural events such as spells, resurrections and turning into a vampires or supernatural creatures such as vampires, werewolves, witches and ghosts.Actually I don’t like this type of stories and characters, but in this serial stories are so well fictioned that it charms you.Now it is on holiday and will start in January .I am waiting its start impatiently.
Apart from its charm it contributes to my development in English.I learned some short expressions.I realized that I dont’ have to translate each word into English.I can use an expression has the same meaning instead of it.It is more practical than it.This text is like a confession for me because I am a bit prejudiced person.I am generally right about my first impressions and judgements but unfortunately sometimes I can be wrong as in this case.I hope I will deal with it.Anyway I watched this serial and I don't regret. I strongly advise you to watch it I hope you will like it.
