DECİDE YOURSELF
It is a common dilemma that where you should stay studying at a university.At this point,you have to decide to live whether with your family at home or with your friends at college.Either of them can be suitable for you and you can say it doesn’t matter for me,but both have many differences than similarities.
They have so little similarities that we can say both have nothing in common.In spite of this I will talk about one of their similarities.In both condition you have to ask permission from somebody to go anywhere.At home you are not allowed to go out without your parents’ favour. Similarly,at college you can’t go somewhere unless you have permission to do it.At this point there is no difference between them.
When it comes to their differences,both are world apart.Their different aspects outnumber their similarities.First of all, while staying at home you don’t need ironing,washing and cleaning.You are only supposed to study.Your mother already does them for you ,but at college you have to deal with all of them on your own.Another point is self confidence.A person living with his family lacks confidence.Every needs of him are removed by his parents.There is no need for his own effort.However ,at college you are alone, and have responsibilities.You have to handle many problems on your own which makes you more self-confident.In terms of economic problems,living at college is better.It teaches you how to spend your money effectively.Conversely,at home you don’t have to worry about money.Your parents supply enough money for you whenever you need.Unlike home,at college you get used to spend your money sparingly.
As a result,these two situation have similarities,but I think their differences are more striking then their similarities.In terms of asking permission they can be the same,but in responsibilities,economic issues and gaining self-confidence they are dissimilar.I think staying at college is better for you.If I were you,I would choose to live out of the shadow of my family.Live at college,live your life.

ReplyDeleteI like your choice for your reflection. It is completely about our new life. All of us began a new life and we had to do some choices. One of these choices is where to stay. It is very important because as you said whereas they have some similiraties they have a lot of differences at the same time. As ı know you stay in dormitory. I hope you are happy. I stay at home and ı am very appreciated. I stayed in dormitory in high school years, so ı was very bored staying in dorm. Now ı think home is more comfortable than dormitory. If somebody wants to stay at home he/ she should stay with friends. It is very enjoyable. Especially if we are hungry at nights we can prepare some meals for us altogether. It is important for me because ı am usually hungry at night:) and when ı was in dormitory ı could not find something to eat. So ı am satisfied with this situation now. We do not have to allow from someone such as officer. Thanks to this whenever we want we can go out. It is not a problem. Your choice is nice. Thank you.. :) take cere of yourself.
